Pixie Stix | Honey Orchid Fragrance Dancong

I remember running around in the summer time hopped up on sugar from those little sugar straws they sold at the canteen - we called them "pixie stix"... well that's what this tea reminds me of.

There's a lovely sugary sweetness on the aroma, but more than that there's a deep fruitiness that lies there as well. It's fruity, but also has a charcoal roast on it which gives it a nice earthy depth. Pixie Stix is an old bush Mi Lan Xiang Dancong, harvested and produced in 2023, giving it some time for the roast to settle and the aroma to become a bit more plum like.
