Smokestacks | Lapsang Souchong

Like a bonfire in a cup! Smokestacks is a Lapsang Souchong, a type of Chinese Black tea that is typically smoked over pine trees, resulting in a smoky flavour. When done properly, this flavour compliments the underlying sweetness of the Black Tea beneath it.

Though this tea has been one of my most requested teas, it took a while for me to find one that didn’t have an overpowering smoky flavour. Well, I’ve finally found it! Smokestacks is smoky and sweet with an underlying chocolatey and sweet character. A must try for those seeking good Lapsang Souchong.
