We have big news! In case you hadn't already heard; we've started a new store in Mahone Bay, NS. Now this new store is not a second location for Eastern Tea Bar per say. Instead, this is a new store called Cat Tale Eclectics - an eclectics mix of books, vinyl records and of course, tea.
If you're in Mahone Bay, come check us out! Though we're not serving any tea for sale, as the days get colder, we're offering small cups of hot tea for customers to enjoy as they look around our small, yet PACKED store.
Cat Tale opened in August and we've been slowly (but surely) getting the hang of things down here. As I write this, we're entering the winter season, and therefore slow season of Mahone Bay. What was a pretty busy end of summer has completely slowed down to a crawl, but I gotta say, it's pretty nice to have time to focus on other aspects of both Cat Tale as well as Eastern Tea Bar. Expect to see more blog posts as well as updates to the website moving forward (at least until I get swamped when the tourist season starts again).
